Read Write Gov

Tomorrow, a colleague and I will be travelling to Peterborough City Council to attend the first Read Write Gov event, hosted by Dave Briggs. The event takes place in the afternoon and the speaker line up consists of Dom Campbell and Steph Gray, in addition to Dave.

The subject of the conference is something of a personal interest - social media within local government.

Whilst on my two-and-a-half hour return train journey, I’ll have plenty of time to reflect upon the afternoon’s events and activities. I will endeavour to post comments, views etc shortly after.

Hi Phillip - thanks for mentioning the event on your blog, which is looking very stylish I must say!

It is going to be a great day with lots of discussion and examples of the social web being used in government. Don’t forget the event blog at http://www.readwritegov.com where some of the conversations can be continued online afterwards!
